Simple Patagonia is the kind of place you land in after a week of hard hiking in Patagonia and realize you've landed somewhere genuinely well-made. The timber architecture and floor-to-ceiling windows frame Última Esperanza channel and the surrounding peaks without fuss - the view does the work. Rooms are large, clean, heated at the floor, and the bedding is noticeably good; some cabins have standalone soaking tubs. Chef Esteban's kitchen is its own reason to stay: the lamb is extraordinary, and if you have an early bus, the buffet breakfast appears without complaint at 5 a.m., generous and fresh. The owners and Katja at reception are present enough that service feels like actual hospitality, not performance. The location five kilometers from town center is functionally an advantage - you get silence, birds, and unobstructed views, with taxis arriving in minutes. The only honest note: you're staying outside Puerto Natales proper, which means the town's restaurants and bars are a short ride away, not a walk.
